This year, Camp Shalom is bringing the WOW! Enjoy Camp Shalom favorites like late nights and sleepovers, theme days, field trips, Shabbat celebrations, and bringing a lot of brand-new WOW's and features that also differentiate us from other neighborhood camps, such as:
· A brand new camp director-The K-6th grade Camp Shalom group welcomes the talented, Wendy Stahl, to the team. With over 15 years of experience successfully directing summer day camps, Wendy knows how important it is to bring the WOW element to Camp Shalom
· K-6th grade campers receive instructional and free swim daily in our outdoor Jr. Olympic size pool. Preschoolers have daily water play whether it is running through our sprinkler park or swimming in the pool
· Brand New Special Events such as Winter Wonderland Day with snow and an ice skating rink, and an end-of-camp carnival with bounce houses and games
· Over a half-dozen specialty camps including basketball art, cooking, circus, sports, special needs and more!
· Complete background checks on counselors and staff. All doors are locked and cannot be opened without an access pass. Plus, JCC security guards are on duty at all times to monitor the campus.
· Before and aftercare available! The camp day runs from 9 am to 4 pm, however, the JCC understands that those hours don’t work for everyone! Drop your child off as early as 7:30 am and pick them up as late as 6pm to accommodate schedules.
· Weekly personalized letters from your camper’s counselors that highlight your child’s favorite activities. Plus we share pictures weekly so you can see the fun your campers are experiencing every day!
