The Boynton Beach Recreation and Parks Department offers a great day camp program this summer at six convenient locations. Summer camps are packed with a variety of experiences and field trips. Children, ages 5 – 12, will have loads of fun enjoying sports, crafts and play during their summer holidays.
Camps are held Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. from June 15 through August 7 (no camps July 3). Each camp has its own personality and feel – and one will be just right for your child. Adventure Camp at Oyer Park, for example, features access to a fishing pier and to the Intracoastal Waterway so kids get to spend lots of time fishing and exploring marine life. Camp Shining Stars at Hester Center offers the use of the full indoor gymnasium for sports and games. Art Camp at the Art Center offers young artists a chance to study and recreate their own works of art using many different art mediums.
Fees for the entire 8 weeks are only $500 for residents and $625 non-resident for Kid Zone, Camp Happy Days, Adventure Camp, Camp Shining Stars and Camp Dolphins. Art Camp is $575 for residents and $720 for non-residents. There is a $25 registration fee per child, payable upon registration.
Children can pack a snack; lunch is provided through a special grant funded program at all sites and breakfast is provided at Camp Shining Stars and Camp Dolphins. All field trips are included in the price! Every child receives a FREE t-shirt! Swimming every Monday! Please call specific contacts for information about specific camps.

Pre-registration is required. Registration begins on April 11 for city residents and April 18 for non-residents. Registration takes place at Intracoastal Park Clubhouse, 2240 N. Federal Hwy., just south of Gateway Blvd., Tuesday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Bring proof of residency (current utility bill), and a copy of your child’s birth certificate.
