BIRDS & BREAKFAST
Saturday, April 18th ~ 9:00am, Ages 9 and older - $3.00 per person
(Reservations Required, limit 10)
Come start your day with us and enjoy coffee and refreshments before embarking on a one hour birding tour with one of our naturalists.
A Celebration of Florida Wildlife and Nature
Sunday, April 19th ~ 6-9:30pm
Hosted by: Arts Garage, 180 NE 1st Street, Delray Beach
This is a photography exhibit located at Arts Garage organized by the local nature photography community to showcase Florida wildlife and landscapes. The goal is to raise awareness for wildlife and the environment, and to make sure future generations are able to enjoy and appreciate what we have today.  
The event features photography from over 25 photographers and will be available for sale. Proceeds will be donated to Friends of Green Cay Nature Center in Boynton Beach.
Everyone is invited, free admission and refreshments will be served
STORY & CRAFT TIME
Saturday, April 25th ~ 10:00am, Suggested Ages: 4 to 10 yrs - $2.00 per child
(Reservations Required, limit 10)
Kids will discover nature through crafts and stories about animals and other nature-related themes!

World Tai Chi Day
Saturday, April 25th, 12:30pm, All ages, FREE Event
Hosted by the Friends of Green Cay Nature Center, Inc.
Free event for the public to observe and participate in Tai Chi & Chi Kung movements. It is done all over the world on the same day and around the same time. The demonstration and lecture will be presented by Sifu Andrew Chung and Sifu Kenneth Marx
SCIENCE FOR SENIORS: Nature’s Misfits
Wednesday, April 29th ~ 1:00pm, Ages 50+ - $5.00 per person (Reservations Required)
There are many pictures and stories out there of nature creating impossible to believe creatures, but ever since the popularity of photo editing took off it’s hard to tell which ones are real, if any of them! A venomous mammal with a beak that lays eggs has to be made up, right? (Nope! That’s a platypus!) Join us for a presentation on animals that look too “invented” to exist, and quiz yourself on which ones are real or not!
Night Stalkers
Thursday, April 30th ~ 7:00pm, All Ages - $5.00 per person (Reservations Required, limit 20)
Join a naturalist on a night-time boardwalk tour looking at nature from the point of view of its nocturnal residents.

SIGN UP NOW for the Junior Naturalist Series!!!!
June 16th, 17th, and 18th ~ 8:30am and 12:00pm – Ages 8-14,
$10 per class or $50 for all six classes; space is limited, please RSVP
The Junior Naturalist Series is designed for youth 8-14 years old who are interested in nature and outdoor activities. The goal of the program is to actively put youth in touch with nature and teach them about Green Cay Wetlands and South Florida wildlife. This is a great way to learn about nature and have some fun! The topics include Jr. Survivalist, Jr. Ecologist, Jr. Entomologist, Jr. Botanist, Jr. Ornithologist, and Jr. Herpetologist. You can attend all 6 sessions, or just one. Receive a certificate for each session attended, attend four sessions and receive a Green Cay Junior Naturalist Certificate, or attend all six sessions and receive a Junior Naturalist patch!
