Join the SWA 4R Scavenger Hunt Throughout the Month of July!

Mark your calendars, mateys!

By Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County May 21, 2021

Mark your calendars, mateys! There is a new family-friendly event coming in July - the SWA 4R Scavenger Hunt!

The SWA, along with its community partners Resource Depot and Grassy Waters Preserve, is hosting a month-long scavenger hunt throughout the month of July! This family-friendly outdoor scavenger hunt takes place on the SWA Greenway Trail System and around Palm Beach County. The pirate-themed hunt will encourage residents to explore ways to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Rethink how they generate and dispose of their waste in our community!

The cost to participate is $50 for a crew of 4 ($10 for each additional adult). Proceeds benefit Resource Depot, a not-for-profit creative reuse center in Palm Beach County that collects and distributes unwanted reusable materials to the arts and education communities.

Registration is open, so get your team signed up today!

Adventurers will need to download the free GooseChase app on their mobile device and upload photos and videos or answer trivia questions to complete missions and earn points (view a simplified explanation for using the GooseChase app on their website).

For your safety, please adhere to all current CDC and/or county guidelines while participating in this scavenger hunt.
